Closed beta launch imminent

We're approaching closed beta at an incredible speed! As part of our pre-launch campaign (damn it sounds cool!) we decided to share the progress we make with Ghost Screen more often. Once a week, for starters. Tune in every Monday!

Today's update is huge: Ghost Screen is now a Chrome extension! Initially I planned to make it into a macOS app. But then I was joined by Mark, who's very good with web apps and extensions, so we decided to switch.

It was an easy decision, really. Extension is awesome for two reasons:

  1. Cross-platform, just like Figma itself. Developers and designers will be able to use Ghost Screen even if they work on different platforms.

  2. Less manual work. Due to the nature of extensions, there's no need to adjust design atop its implementation by hand (it still can be done manually if needed, though). Wait till you see how easy front-end development and design QA are with Ghost Screen!

On the downside: you won't be able to use Ghost Screen with mobile apps, unfortunately. But since there's FlawlessApp, you're probably already covered.

That's it for this week. Next Monday I'll dive into more details about decisions we were making along the way.
