The biggest thing that helped us was our transparency policy, student success stories and the cause itself, that seems to resonate very much with millennials and younger. Donors can choose what percentage goes directly to students and what goes for operational costs & innovation. By default, we suggest 15% for Operational costs & Innovation but the average commission is 17% since donors understand the importance of keeping the team running.
