An idea was born

I already had some sticky notes around the house with my mid-term goals and after watching the 2 videos mentioned in the previous post, I created another, with my long-term ones and really placed it in my bathroom.

But I was still getting distracted throughout the day.

So ... after a few days I thought ... why not make an app that reminds me?

First I checked my trusty GTD/To Do apps. I could use these, I thought. But my purpose wasn't something that needed to be checked off a list. I didn't want to feel guilty for not ticking a checkbox, nor have to go into an app to "complete" something that doesn't really require completing.

Then I checked some Habit forming apps. But the same arguments applied, more or less. The purpose isn't to form a new habit; it's not something to do.

So I thought I can create something that serves exactly my purpose: to be able to create a "goal", no matter what that is, and be reminded about it at regular intervals; daily, weekly, several times per day, the usual.

Money, fame, knowledge, health, a new profession, it doesn't matter. You choose what you want in life; you decide what's important for you; just don't lose track of it.

Set goals; plan for them; work on them; accomplish your dreams.
