I was talking with an Airbnb Co-Host who manages 60 properties and they had an issue of having a ton of people ask for early check-ins or late check-outs. It takes up a lot of time. Now, we make it easy for everyone.

February 7, 2020 First Email Campaign Got 3% Response Rate

I researched and found just around 100 businesses that I could potentially help out with the Happier Traveler Product. I searched Airbnb Co-Hosts by every major U.S. city and clicked through link after link in google. And slowly I built out a list. Got some emails and some contact us forms. I then put together the following email:

Hi There!

I would love to ask you something about Airbnb co-hosting!

I am currently working with some other co-hosts, like Host & Co, to make it much easier for you to not only schedule early-check ins and late check-outs, but also to make some money from it similar to how hotels charge for those services.

Basically, you can automatically attach a link to any of your bookings and your guests can come on themselves and change their check-in/check-out at anytime. We handle everything from generating the link to taking payment to making sure that their request makes space for your cleaning crew to get into the apartment before the next guest arrives. And we just take a commission on the request change, so there is no risk for you.

With Host & Co, they are getting between $20 and $40 for every request change and they don’t have to respond to guests requests to make a time change on their reservation.

Would you be interested in trying it out or scheduling a quick call to talk through it? It’s totally up to you! Thanks for hearing me out. I appreciate you taking the time to read through my email.

And sent it out. I got 3 interested businesses to potentially start working with. Each one will probably add around 1k/mon to my stripe revenue on conversion.

January 30, 2020 $120 Revenue in First Month

I've been working with our first client over the past month to test and launch the product. We were able to quickly get it into the hands of the end user and start getting some transactions. I wasn't expecting much for our first month, but with a single customer we ended up making their company ~$600 and taking in $120 ourselves.

Stripe is a little off because we switched stripe accounts recently to better display who we were on Credit Cards. But its all coming together!
