Simple Cookie Consent Solution for GDPR Compliance
As a developer, I've always been curious about how widgets work, cookie popups in particular. So I did some digging, turns out its a lot of if-else statements. Check it out, please, and tell me what you think.
Since the first launch on Jan 16th, 2021. Which was later rescheduled and relaunched on 17th, 2021. HelloConsent is still on the front page and has received over 100+ upvotes and good feedback, some very encouraging while others give me inspiration for the product enhancement. So far they've been a lot of registration on the platform, which proves that people find the product very useful. After many months, I'm very relieved that I completed this project and did not abandon it. More improvement on the way though.
By the time of writing this (16:40 Saturday, January 16, 2021 (GMT+1)) HelloConsent just went live on ProductHunt. Not sure what the outcome gonna be, but I hope it gets the attention it needs to encourage its growth.
