1 product in 1 week (exclusive for Indie Hackers)

Inspired by @calummoore's "one product a week" project, I decided to do a one-time version of it as a personal challenge.

That was one week ago, so it's time for the result to go live. With a twist: it's written specifically for (and only open to) members of IndieHackers.

Let me introduce HelpMatch: https://helpmatch.co

Pick the areas you need help with ("landing page feedback", "user testing", "seo"), the areas you can help with, and find fellow IndieHackers having matching needs & offers.

EDIT: anyone registering, be sure to check your spam folder for the message with the login link, some spam filters may take the freshness of the domain (less than 24 hours as I write) as a red flag.

Hat tip to @sergey_shvets for feedback and to @kareman and @emwalker for early test-driving!

Nice! Just signed up. Very clever use of the public email display on IH to do account verification given the lack of oauth.

Hope you see some adoption! I do somewhat wonder what the reasoning is for not autosizing for desktop displays.

      Thanks!

I had to cut some corners in order to fit the work in seven days so I settled for a good mobile look and a merely ok desktop look, but yes, the latter needs to be revisited.

Ah nice man! Well, congrats on the launch! Looking great. Not bad at all for 7 days of work.

You can sign up for Sendgrid (100 email/day free) to solve deliverability problem.

@csallen you should integrate this into indiehackers !!

This is a really cool idea!

    Nice MVP.

    • Might be worth creating a simple logo for the Favicon. I do like seeing it built in React though :)
    • Email went to junk

I must add "icon design" to the list of help areas. :)
