$1,000 all-time revenue!

Between job postings and affiliate commissions, Hey Marketers achieved $1,000 in all-time revenue today!

$1k is not a small number. No, it's not monthly revenue. But it's revenue nonetheless. To think that this started with an urge to build a job board and hack something together with no-code tools and now to have an extra $1,000 in my pocket is pretty astounding!

    Congrats on the milestone!

Curious how companies who post jobs find you. Do you reach out to them or they discover you?

    Best of luck.

It's been 90% me reaching out. A lot of "sales" basically. I see someone post something on Twitter/LinkedIn and then DM. Or I'll see a new job opening and go find their email and reach out. I've actually outsourced most of this now though so I can focus more on the "product" and marketing.

Nice work Corey, keep up the great work! 👏

Nice work Corey! Did you have an audience when you launched or created paid mkt campaigns?

    1. 1

I have a small Twitter following but started the HeyMarketers.com audience from scratch. Haven't done any paid marketing (yet) and mostly doing SEO/content marketing.

    Welldone Corey,

More to come, just continue to push it.

Hey Corey, great milestone to achieve!

Mind if I reach out to you regarding a possible partnership with the company I'm currently working for? (HelloMaaS)

That's my next milestone, so I can only imagine how you're feeling. It's a great accomplish and you're right, it is not small! Some people never get there, and you did :) Congrats!

    Good job!

I like the idea of affiliates on the side. Any numbers you can give us like clicks/conversions etc. I plan on doing something similar for a side project of mine.

I don't have a good way to aggregate all the stats right now but I can tell you I've made around $250 from affiliate commissions, $200 of that being from one in particular. They're all recurring too so I expect that to grow and even (possibly) overtake job posting revenue.

      1. 1

Nice, will be interesting to try it out. Recurring is crazy as well.

Awesome work, Corey. Bummed we never met when I was still in San Diego. Let me know if you make it out to Lisbon? Free guest room for ya.

Thanks Josh! I'd love to make it to Lisbon one day. My wife and I are planning on spending a few months in the UK to travel around in spring of next year.
