30 Sign Ups

Very excited that pre-launch has already generated more sign-ups than my previous startup with almost no advertising!

It's great to see people's reactions when I am sharing Hey Titan with them - it's very encouraging to hear their feedback and enthusiasm and see this reflected in the early sign-ups.

I set myself the goal that I would like 20 sign-ups as a green-light to continue working on this idea, and I've hit it very quickly! I've been reviewing every email address ensuring it's real (so that I am not getting too excited), but they're real! :D

Now, I am back to building the prototype with early user testing planned in 2 weeks with my fellow YC Startup School friends.

    Congratulations! 🙌

Great work! Looks like your on the right track. I would say it’s not too early to reach out to every sign up directly and ask what made them interested in your product.

Love the idea! How do you develop the chatbot? I’ve been doing chatbots for fun for quite a long time and providing a satisfying experience to the user is pretty hard.

Hi @gtardini! Very good and justified question.

I've always loved chatbots but this is my first time trying to make something out of it properly!

You're 100% right - it is incredibly difficult to make it a great user experience. Hence, this is my biggest challenge - how to provide value, and not let my users down. There are a few tricks I am employing that I hope will work, but it will all come down to a lot of bot training, content/intents, the right way to handle unknown queries, designing conversation flow and heaps of user testing to really see what people want to know about.

Thank you for signing up too! I may need your feedback soon!

Congratulations! Which strategy are you following for getting the sign-ups?

Thank you! @sunner- I have to say - I don't have the perfect answer. If I had to guess I think it is perhaps a combo of these 2 factors -->

      • I think that this time around, my product can be clearly explained in one sentence. Previously, my other ideas and products were confusing.
      • I have broadened my reach by participating in more platforms like Startup School and Indie Hackers. Before, I didn't even know they even existed (living in Australia!).

Hope this helps, but it's completely my own opinion!
