10 customers - First milestone

Its been two months since I made Hilfedesk public and it is exciting to see 10 customers use Hilfedesk.

I was so scared of launching Hilfedesk. I was thinking that with Freshdesk and Zendesk in the market who would even bother to use Hilfedesk.

But we kept reaching out to people and kept going.

We also use Hilfedesk as the primary customer support tool at one of my other company and that helped us hone the product and its features better.

The next milestone is 100 customers.

    Congratulations! Any insight into why customers would choose your product over the competitors you're mentioning?

    Also don't really get the pricing, is it free?

      Thank you very much.

      I have kept it free for now. The initial users are giving me good amount of feedback and are also pointing out the issues (bugs) that we have. So I have kept it totally free. Its a win win for me and also for the customers.

      Based on my interaction with the customers the reasons they chose Hilfedesk was it was simple to setup compared to Hilfedesk, it was free, the free plan had the reports that they needed, Hilfedesk had all the features that a helpdesk software should have.

        However, the lack of visibility on the site in regard to pricing has scared me off. It says "free trial" but no indication of what the cost is after the free trial, and how long the trial is.

        If it's free for now, perhaps that should be a bit clearer to reduce misunderstandings.

        Also some more screenshots of different aspects of the software would be advantageous too, such as responding to requests and back-end admin task screens.

    Congrats! What are your plans for the future?

      Future plans are simple. Keep growing it in a bootstrapped way with absolutely no external funding.

      With reference to the product, need to start billing once the product becomes polished from a use case perspective.
