We've recently released a few features requested by our users and HyperCharts has been generating revenue for around 6 months so I'm starting to get a decent idea of our churn, average revenue per user, and lifetime value metrics. I feel that we're at a good place to start experimenting with some paid marketing to see if we get any good returns on that.
We've so far gotten most of our users from my co-founder's YouTube channel and organic Twitter traffic, and our target audience is investors in public companies.
I'm currently thinking of testing sponsored videos on other finance YouTube channels, and sponsored ads on finance podcasts and newsletters.
I'd love to get any advice on this. Should I test paid ads on Twitter or Reddit? Are there other channels I should consider? Any recommendations for small finance related youtube channels, podcasts, or newsletters I should advertise on?
