Most of our expenses are saas products, so a credit card that gives a percentage back on all online purchases would have been ideal. However, we were not able to find a business credit card that offer that.
Instead, after asking around and conducting some online research, we landed on the Amazon Prime Business Card.
PROS
- No annual fee
- 1% back on everything
- 2% back at restaurants, gas stations, and on wireless phone services
- 5% back on Amazon, AWS, and Whole Foods with Prime Membership (otherwise 3% back)
- $125 Amazon gift card upon approval (nice but wouldn't base a decision around this)
- No foreign transaction fees
CONS
- Higher APR 14.24% to 22.24%
- Need excellent credit
We also considered the Spark 1.5% Cash Select, which does not have an annual fee and gives 1.5% back on all purchases. However, 0.5% more back is fairly insignificant and outweighed by 5% on all Amazon purchases.
Feel free to share which credit card you are using and why you picked it in the comments.
