Instaaa takes the stress out of marketing by promoting your business on 100 media outlets and directories for you. Built originally as a personal side project and way for me to get initial traction to my websites.
Instaaa reaches $6K MRR
After travelling the US for three months, I returned home to continue adding to (and improving) Instaaa. I hooked up Zapier for automation and began sending out customer experience surveys to help me get an idea of what I should be focusing my efforts on. One week later, Instaaa reached $6K MRR.
Update: Instaaa has recently reached $7K MRR!
Updates & Issues
I began experiencing customer complaints regarding the quality of the service. Upon investigating, I discovered that the team of two I had hired on Upwork were not delivering work on par with that promised on-site. After rehiring and adjusting some of the directories Instaaa submitted, complaints slowed and reviews of the service improved.
I also shipped some new UI changes and created an animated explainer video in an effort to engage users, help convert and lower my bounce rate (which at the time was around 80%). After doing so, my bounce rate lowered to 40%.
Launch 🚀
On September 30th 2017, I launched Instaaa on Product Hunt. It was received extremely well by the community and gained over 1,000 upvotes within 48 hours.
