Relaunched, and started an email campaign

N Beaumont @nbeaumont

I really didn't like the look of my site, and the design no longer made sense after Epic changed the entire challenge system for Fortnite Season X.

This time, instead of improvising a design as I coded, I went on a coding hiatus and took some time to hammer out mocks for a complete redesign. I'm not much of a designer, but I was able to get the hang of Adobe XD pretty quickly, and browsed dribbble and Google's Material Design site for inspiration. What I came up with looks a lot more professional than what I had before, and will hopefully be easier for people to use.

I also (finally) sent out on email to my subscribers. Of the 1000 registered users on my site, about 20% opted in to receive email updates. I used mailchimp to create a somewhat decent-looking campaign, showcasing screenshots of the redesign. I sent it out this morning. Fingers crossed that people are still interested in this kind of tool!
