July 9, 2021 Updated Indie Hackers Project Page

We pivoted back in March and things have been going so well, we haven't done any major marketing updates. We've been building and organically growing the business month-over-month.

The first thing I want to do now is take a moment to update this page. We'll be relaunching our pricing page, a new app, and more over the summer. Stay tuned :)

March 23, 2021 Introducing: Concierge Services

What if your sales software literally helped you sell?

This spring, we've completed several successful pilots and are now rolling out concierge services to our customers. I've added four people to the team to help fulfill this work and it's been going really well!

Intro CRM comes with the help you need to grow your business. Coaching, administrative support, and more.

Whether it's building outbound lead lists, qualifying inbound leads, managing approved vendor paperwork, or something else, we're here to help grow your business.

January 20, 2021 Released Public Beta

Officially released the public beta! After a lengthy testing period with ~44 alpha testers, it's time to push out the final new features and start getting more folks signed up.

I'm excited about the new Next Steps and Forecasting features!

So far, beta feedback has been positive and I'm focused on improving activation when people sign up for the Intro CRM.

December 9, 2020 Made Alpha Public

After spending months building my SaaS in private with updates via newsletter and social media, I was having a ton of friction with alpha sign ups and decided f*** it and made it public.

I got a new sign up and the world kept spinning!

Wrapping up alpha testing in December and moving to paid beta in January 2021.

November 8, 2020 Launched Integrations

Officially launched integrations with Basecamp, Trello, and Asana! Now, when you make a new deal in Intro CRM it pushes that deal to your preferred project management software.

Wrote up the full documentation and also included the ability to batch import if you're migrating to Intro CRM from another tool.

September 3, 2020 Re-Designed Marketing Website

Published a podcast interview with a great digital marketer and I'm going to be promoting that. In parallel, I needed to re-design the website to keep the UI/UX tracking with the app itself.

So with newfound sense of urgency, I re-designed the website today and went live:

I love how it came out! And have received really positive feedback from folks who are following closely and are interested in becoming beta testers.

August 21, 2020 Launched Podcast (Pipeline Meeting)

Intro CRM is for entrepreneurs, freelancers, solopreneurs... The types of folks who essentially run one-person businesses.

So, I decided to launch a podcast to discuss our sales pipeline together. I have a lot of ideas for the show format and just released the trailer:

I'm happy to be using for podcast hosting and analytics, which is an indie and bootstrapped company that makes a beautiful product.

July 27, 2020 Started Using for my Business

I'm starting to use Intro CRM to run my own business, keeping track of potential consulting deals. I haven't built all the features to be able to fully transition over, but it's a start!

Working backwards, so starting with Deal Tracking. Will build tasks and People widgets next. When the basics of all three are done, I should be able to entirely switch over.

July 19, 2020 Created 3rd Party API Developer Account

For the first time, created a developer account! Starting with Basecamp because I want to explore that possible integration.

I'm using Bubble and a plugin from ZeroQode but need to troubleshoot the OAuth login because I'm not sure how to do that yet :)

July 11, 2020 Setup Basecamp

Huge fan of Basecamp and I'm planning on using it for project management. I've used it for a while now for client work and other projects.

For Intro CRM, I'd been throwing links into a single item in the beginning. Now, making this thing official so it gets its own project!
