Jarbot.io Status Update

David Klein @dakl

Got caught up with Hashr.io the last couple of days and thus neglected Jarbot.io a tad bit. But now, back on track and launch date is set in stone. January 1st, 2020!

Most onboarding material is done, tiny things in the dashboards need to be fixed as well as payment (the part I hate most). Why aren't there any good standalone libraries that allow Stripe subscriptions without having to shell out $99+/month? Something supersimple that has the bare necessities already built in and you can just launch (self-hosted) with the following features:

  • EU Tax
  • Subscriptions
  • Cancellation
  • Pro rata
  • Emails

Set API keys and be done with it...

Anyway, 2020 will be awesome!

Hard to say. Hashr.io was a weekend project challenge. A private project that turned out to be pretty nice imho. At the time being this side hustle is nothing more than a fun distraction.

Jarbot.io on the other hand solves a real market need und thus this project is more likely to succeed (i hope).
