I've started building Jobbert before, but always by digging into code immediately. This time, I am trying to faithfully follow the lessons from the IndieHackers podcast.
For now, this means get a convincing landing page up FAST and selling the idea to potential customers before building the app. I made jobbert.work, a static landing page with Bootstrap on Netlify. The call-to-action button leads to a signup form for a Mailchimp audience. Instead of putting fingers to keys and coding, I started cold emailing local businesses to get feedback, or maybe even a signup. Next, I'll try to get this in front of some website builder communities--Wix, Squarespace, etc.
It would be great to be able to build a product knowing it can be sold.
