Product Hunt but only one featured product a day
As with all Indie Hackers I suffer from a place to launch my products. It takes time to build up a Twitter following, but the place I really had success were startup indexes like Product Hunt, BetaPage and BetaList .
I've taken the step make the analytics for Just Launched, publicly available.
We're using Plausible Analytics to do this, take a look here.
One problem I've faced with startup indexes like BetaPage and BetaList is I have no idea how much traffic I can be expecting, especially when they ask you to pay for the listing, I find it to be a pretty hard sell.
By making our analytics public I hope people feel more secure with their purchase and with listing their product.
Right now the numbers look pretty sad 馃槙, I should have enabled Plausible from the start when I launched on Product Hunt.
I've been on the indie hacker grind all this year. I've made three other products with zip to show for them:
And now, Just Launched which I spent two days on already has earned me $40!
So motivating!

This project represents around two days of development time, and I'm really proud to be shipping so early.
I'm going crazy with ideas for this project (building a mailing list, twitter promotions) and can't wait to see where it goes!
This is at total odds with my main side project which I worked on for 6 months and is still struggling to get off the ground.
Following my mantra of shipping early and shipping often, Just Launched (https://just-launched.dev) is now live!
Something something we've "just launched" 馃槤
It's basically Product Hunt but with only one product being featured per day.
When developing side projects I personally struggle with getting my product in front of people, so I'm scratching my own itch and creating a basic startup index.
The first and only product on it currently is also my own side project, hopefully others are added soon!
