The COVID Marketing Hack 🤟

Hello, Indie Hackers! It's been a little over 2 months since we've launched our productized business and we are over the moon for the trust and support that were given to us by our awesome partners.

Today also marks the official launch of our service at Product Hunt (Your feedback and support can go a long way). https://www.producthunt.com/posts/keyeicon

Now some of you might wonder how the heck did we manage to turn 1 subscriber to 12 partners in 2 months... Well, all we can say is that it took us an insane amount of effort, a few dead brain cells and covid to grow our tiny team.

It turns out that doing social media campaign is a great investment to build awareness to your brand. To date, we've spent only $100 on facebook ads for 2 months, reaching 20,000+ people, 300+ clicks, 0 subscribers. 🙆‍♀️

We kind of expected this performance as Facebook has over 60 million active business pages that are also advertising online, its almost near impossible to engage with people unless of course.. you're COVID 🤢...

And so we did became like COVID.

We leveraged on the idea of what people would like to hear, see and feel in this pandemic. We became personal.

Personal on our commitment, personal on our engagements, personal on our connections.

People want to see that you care. Offer free work, offer free feedbacks, offer discounts, offer free extensions. Everyone is struggling. Make kindess the core of your company culture and create value that people will love.

I hope this post will help a lot of you improve your partner acquisition. If you ever need some design or digital marketing advice, professional feedback on your brand, website or product, don't hesitate to email me at [email protected]

Best of luck to all Indie Hackers! Stay safe and God bless!
