April 16, 2021 Launch of Keypup 2.0 on Product Hunt

Exciting times as we launch our second iteration of our product on Product Hunt.

It comes with a raft of improvements, much to our delight most of them inspired by our users. The platform is slicker, faster, integrates with more developers tools and comes with exciting new features.

What a day!

January 15, 2021 New Product UI release

What's great about users is when they share their views on the good, but more so the bad or what could be improved.
We are blessed with fantastic users, who help us shape our product and turn it into something really useful and cool.

We received a fair few comments in the last few months that the UI of our platform was clean, clear and enjoyable to use. And that was great!
But on the downside, that it was a bit 'windows 95' in the look and feel.

Because we thought that was a fair point, we did quite some work to make it more modern and even more enjoyable to use.

Thanks to all our users for their continued support, and great ideas!

December 7, 2020 Launch of Agile board for developers

Agile is great, at least it's supposed to be. The problem is that it has turned into a whole lot of process, adding meetings to meetings and taking time away from actual work.

Developers have become the poor parents of Agile. Until now, it was useful to project managers and managers as a whole. But not bringing much productive value to developers.

Keypup has changed that. Creating the first Agile board specifically dedicated to developers, made by developers.

Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban or any implementation that developers actually need, Keypup bring, in a flexible Agile implementation, true to the Manifesto.

July 1, 2020 Keypup official Beta Launch

This time we were ready to launch to the World with our Beta version.

So thrilling to see your product out there getting users to try it - and luckily like it by the look of it!

We love all our users, always. But these few hundred early adopters are really like family. Can't thank them enough!

December 15, 2019 Pre-seed round complete

We raised $800k USD as pre-seed round to keep on refining our product-market fit and get our first users.

This round was a mix of investors from our previous company, and new ones such as the founders of https://www.people-doc.com/ .

A great way to execute on our business model, which is a no-revenue for the initial 12 months.

October 15, 2019 Keypup Alpha version launch

This was uber exciting!

Launching the very first version of our platform. To a selected pool of 50 Developers only.

The idea was to get plenty of feedback: the good, the bad and above all the ugly. Which we got!

Plenty more work to do to get to product launch, but fantastic idea and the team was really pumped up!

April 15, 2019 Keypup company is launched

What a great moment!

After countless interviews with Developers, analyses, mock-ups, etc. Keypup (the company) was created and launched.

We raised a pre-seed round to get us started (mostly from investors of our previous startup, that by now was having a happy life as a listed company on the London Stock Exchange following our IPO the year before).

2018 An idea was born

With my co-founder, we have been working for a long time as developers, tech leads or managing developments.

Although there are great tools out there for software production, it didn't seem there was any dedicated to helping Developers with handling their daily "mess".

Working on multiple tasks (issues, Pull Requests or Epics), for multiple projects, with peers, using multiple tools.... It all creates a lot of information (if not spam) and it becomes hard to see what matters, when it matters.

The idea of Keypup was born: a Development Workflow streamlining platform - that would work with the tools developers use (Github, Gitlab, Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Slack etc.) but that would totally streamline the information flows, automate the transfer of activities within teams (for instance "PR review") and help Developers shine through their work.
