For years (since 2003), we’ve explored different business models for offering design services. After the real estate market got rocky in Canada in 2018, a lot of our clients who worked within it had to scale back on design, so we looked to restructure.
We had an incredible, hard-working team. And we knew that there were still so many other industries that needed ongoing design services. It was a tough year, but we tried a few different models, and then decided that productized design was the best way for us to make our services accessible to clients across industries. So Kimp came to life :)
