App for tracking, recording & sharing guitar pedal settings.
I wanted something that could help me keep track of my guitar pedal settings and also discover pedals other guitarists are using.
Four months ago I launched an app called KnobsAI. An app for guitar players that helps them keep track of their guitar pedal settings and share them with other guitarists.
Today, KnobsAI was featured in Guitar World, the world's leading guitar magazine.
In the last 12 hours, the app has gotten 180+ new users, now reaching more than 1000! That may not be much for a big tech company, but it's a lot for me and this independent project.

After 6 months, 526 commits, 13943 lines of code, and $952.22 invested, KnobsAI is finally available on the App Store and the Play Store!
There's still a lot of work to do, plenty of bugs to fix, and new features to add. The journey will continue!

About a month ago I was still deciding if making my idea public or keep building it secretly. Friends, family, and people from IH motivated me to make it public.
So I went to some forums, created social accounts, made some demos, uploaded them to Youtube, promoted one post on IG, and launched the website where people could subscribe to the beta.
Yesterday was the last day of subscriptions. 70 people subscribed!
That's more than what I was expecting!
I started sending emails to all of them and many are very excited to try it out and I can't wait for them to use the app.
I'm now more motivated to keep working on this app and launch it!

Today I launched the official website for KnobsAI. An app for tracking, recording, sharing, and discovering guitar pedal settings.
The app uses AI to detect the knobs, their values, and their labels from a picture of your guitar pedal.
