10,000 salaries shared in less than 3 months!

Nicolas Granja @ngranja19

A couple of days ago KnowYourWorht reached 10.000 salary submissions! I'm very happy with this milestone!. I never expected to reach that number in just two months and a half.

It has been a long journey, since I launched the site I had added a lot of new features to the site, trying to add value to it and keep the user interested in the site.

First I added support for local currency for more than 80 countries. Then I rebuilt the whole site with Nuxt to improve the SEO and try to get more traffic organically.

Also, I was able to increase by 3x my ads revenues in the site (I post how I did it here.) So the site is free but at least I'm making enough money with the ads to pay the server.

But the key to reaching that number was to constantly keep sharing the site on Reddit, Hacker News, Makerlog and so many other communities.

Most of the salaries were submitted a month ago when I posted on r/InternetIsBeautiful and the post went viral. That day only I got almost 6k submissions.

Some interesting numbers about the salaries shared:
*There are from 108 different countries.
*3600+ companies.
*2500+ different job titles listed.

Now I'm focused on collecting some salaries to make it more useful for people of countries that there are not so many salaries at the moment.
