Validation first πŸ’‘

Hey πŸ‘‹

Like most people that love hacking away on a new idea, I think I like starting a new project too much. In itself, I don't think having a lot of side projects is a bad thing - but when you take the "build it and they will come" approach, things rarely work out.

With Konvo I am taking a different route. I am building Konvo "validation first".

The first step is to build an optimized landing page. This is just to rule out "bad landing page design" as a reason for people not engaging with your idea. The second step is to explain the idea as simply and clearly as possible. If people struggle to understand your idea - nobody will engage.

The final step is to use the number of subscribers you collect on your landing page as a metric to decide whether to continue with your idea. Pick a number - "if I reach 'x' subscribers in 'y' weeks I will build this product/platform".

This is a new process for me, but I am looking forward to learning a lot.

Cheers ✌
