Kuma Learn offers you a visual approach to learning Japanese
Getting started with learning Japanese can seem a tall order, with so many unfamiliar words! Kuma Learn offers a visual approach to learning Japanese vocabulary and plans to add games and content with pictures!
In the past week (10 May), I posted another couple of free Kuma Learn mini-eBooks as well as my first full-length (paid) eBook on Reddit's /r/LearnJapanese community. It didn't get as much attention the first launch of mini-eBooks in January but it was great to see the concept being validated. You can read the full story here: https://blog.kumalearn.com/first-full-length-ebook-launch
Posting on Reddit has been a huge success, garnering 7k+ downloads and 600+ upvotes: https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/kxu6io/learn_japanese_vocabulary_with_pictures_jlptn5/
But the most interesting part of it all might have been that someone wanted to pay for a free product (on Gumroad, you can optionally pay for a free product)! That caught me off-guard as I expected anyone given a free product... will take it for free.
This has been a revelation and I'll be sure to continue putting effort into this young project!
Reddit is the main community I'll be trying to connect with because (a) there are 300K learners and (b) it's a very active community. https://www.reddit.com/r/LearnJapanese/comments/kxu6io/learn_japanese_vocabulary_with_pictures_jlptn5/
I posted also on Show HN because I always do when I make anything.

Kuma Learn now has a total of three free mini-eBooks to give Japanese learners a taster of learning with pictures: https://www.kumalearn.com/ebooks
It's been an interesting process for sure, as this is my first set of info products. I used Pages and Gumroad to get these eBooks off the ground!
Mini-eBook is written and website is up (https://www.kumalearn.com). It's been a project on my mind for a while and this is the first stab at getting something out there!
Kuma Learn is for Japanese learners who are looking for alternative ways to pick up vocabulary. Kuma Learn offers a visual approach to learning Japanese, with its picture dictionary: Kumadex. You can download a copy of the free eBook on https://www.kumalearn.com.
