2023/01/28:
Five years ago (2018), on this day, my wife and I landed in Canada.
However, the first startup that allowed me to come to Canada a year earlier (2017) failed miserably.

After a traumatic experience of a failed startup, being broke, and lots of other things (πΈπ©π¦π― πͺπ΅ π³π’πͺπ―π΄, πͺπ΅ π±π°πΆπ³π΄)... we got our scarce resources together and landed in Toronto Pearson, this time together (2018).
That spring of 2018, I helped launch Autoklose.
Two years and one hell of a ride later, Autoklose was acquired in late 2020.
Today, my latest startup, LeadDelta, was voted the No.1 SaaS Product of 2022. and there are quite a few other exciting updates we will share with you soon.
Being a student of entrepreneurship for an entire decade, I would like to share 3 things I believe are crucial not to burn yourself out and achieve whatever you desire:

A lot has changed for Leaddelta and it's hard to keep up informing the public. But numbers do speak for themselves... we just hit $10k, 200 customers, and over 700 downloads.
200 customers came out of 2 sales emails that we sent, and 2 affiliates post on LinkedIn and Facebook respectively.
We believe with some of these groups we've found a proper product-channel fit.

One hundred app downloads milestone checked. β
We are still in the Alpha stage, but more and more users are referring to their friends, which is excellent. Part of our early-stage growth strategy is Word-of-Mouth.
Hey, we just hit our first 50 downloads. π
We are not doing any crazy promotion. Essentially we shared the project with our friends and their immediate network.
Also, almost every user left a feedback note. Which is great!
We collect feedback through:
β’ [email protected] or LinkedIn or personal notes.
β’ Simple in-app feedback form.
β’ Exit form.
The goal is to get to 350-500 downloads and have at least 20% HQ feedback forms filled out, that we'll later manually hand-pick and structure based on the function, job title, size of the org, geo, etc. and then prioritize the next steps.
First 5-star review just came in and it seems that it's from a product designer:
"Very useful extension for LinkedIn!"

The idea is to group users into categories. Not every feedback will be valued the same... We have no interest in building yet another sales platform that will get banned by LinkedIn. Stay tuned.
