We think there are several products that have been built for revenue instead of customer value.

We want to change that by providing lean and highly targeted software built for smaller companies.

We have a mission - Provide software for the lowest price possible

Help documentation is something every SaaS company should provide, but it is one of those expenses that are a nightmare to pay for.

Current offerings charge based on number of users, or maybe number of pages you make. Who wants that! Why should your costs increase just because you hired a new employee? Or want to add an FAQ page, but that would put you in the next pricing tier.

That is just an example of what we are wanting to change.

Today, we open our next product Lean20 Docs for pre-registration.

No, you can't use it yet - I really wish you could.

No, we aren't harvesting emails

We are just excited this product is nearing completion and wanted to share it with those who are interested.

We anticipate pricing to be in line with our Ping product, continuing the Lean20 tradition of providing the most important functionality while keeping our costs to a minimum.

If you are wanting to provide your customers with a help site without having to worry about increasing costs, then sign up today. We will email you when it is ready.

April 1, 2021 Hello, World!

After months of work, we are excited to publicly open!

We know what it is like to be running a small company and have to pay venture-funded prices for software you are expected to have. $99/month for a status page, $50/month for help docs, another $99/month for uptime monitoring, and $50/month for feedback management.

The worst part was when an arbitrary threshold was passed and we would have to pay more for the same product.

We made Lean20 because we think there are several products that have become bloated, too expensive, and built for revenue over value. We want to change that by providing lean and highly targeted software for the lowest price possible.

We are going to accomplish this with the Pareto Principle - which states that 80% of effects come from 20% of the causes. When applied to software, it has been observed that most users of a system only care about a small percentage of what it can do. In practice, this means building what matters; not what enables us to charge more.

At the heart of our philosophy is a focus on value over revenue. We believe in this so much we decided to launch our first product 100% free, forever. It's our way to show you what we are about right from the start.

We've worked really hard to create commodity services that work more like AWS and less like buying a new car. We'd love to build a community around this exciting experiment and fill an under-served but critical function for you.
