Reached 2,000 app downloads

Today we reached another nice milestone. In total, we have 1,227 downloads coming from App Store and 773 coming from Play Store.

One of the things I learned is that my target audience is mostly iOS users. I didn't expect such a big gap between App Store and Play Store. That's an interesting insight.

Congrats and thanks for the share!
So how successful the project is so far?

This is a new niche for me and I have not been working on this very much. However, it's still growing. It has 10,124 downloads now.

I feel like there's a lot of potential here, but I'm focused on my book and other projects right now :/

Hey @zenorocha congrats on the milestone. Out of curiosity do you happen from which country do most of the traffic come from? The reason I ask is because the love for cheese is very high in France and a few other European countries. I did a quick google search on countries which topped in cheese consumption and looks like the European countries come out on top. So maybe targeting users from these countries might be a worth it.

Thanks @Nakkeeran! The top 3 countries who most use LeCheese today are:

      1. 57.2% from US
      2. 8.93% from Brazil
      3. 3.21% from France

Thanks for sharing this article. I had no idea that the top cheese consumers are Denmark, Iceland, and Finland. I'll definitely consider targeting them.

Congrats. Are these people just finding the app via the app stores? Or are you doing anything else to increase visibility?

    1. 1

That's a great question Rosie. Today it's pretty much organic traffic via the app stores and word of mouth. I also started an Instagram account (https://instagram.com/lecheese.app/), which is bringing a little bit of visibility.

I'd love to get some tips and learn more about increasing visibility.

Yeah, this is why I like to ask, best way to learn is to see how others are succeeding, or failing.
