Smart link auto-previews that keep visitors on your website
I love how Wikipedia innovated link previews and made browsing the encyclopedia website so much more efficient. I want to make browsing the Web as efficient as Wikipedia.
Over the last couple of months, Linkz.ai saw a good number of new sign-ups. User requests are usually bundled into 3 categories:
1. Where is the dark mode?
Happy to report that Dark mode has landed on all usage plans. 馃帀
2. Link preview for a particular website does not work
Happy to report that the LInkz.ai script that dramatically improved support for rich media link previews and all user requests to date has been addressed.
3. How do I install linkz.ai script on my website?
I'm currently in a process of structuring the help center with all the articles on how to integrate LInkz.ai in various website builders, e.g. Webflow
Bonus update. The usage on some accounts were so high that it broke the analytics dashboard. Happy to report that I've re-built the Analytics dashboard to support accounts with high usage. 馃帀
I did the Product Hunt campaign for Linkz.ai. We did ok, got over 500 upvotes, and finished on 4th place for the day. One tip that could鈥檝e helped is immediate upvotes as soon as the product has been posted. We didn鈥檛 have that, as the result, for the first part of the day we were down in the leaderboard and were missing on the organic upvotes. As soon as my community started to upvote, we started to pick up organic upvotes and got into the top 5.

When talking to early adopters and people who were interested at first but never finalized a subscription, the common thing was that people wanted to try the product before entering credit card information.
At first, I was hesitant about the free plan, since I'm incurring costs providing the service, even at limited capacity. It took a while to come up with a solution that made sense economically and provided value to the people who wanted to try.

Finished Linkz.ai v1.0! After a couple of months of testing, I'm happy to quietly announce Linkz.ai v1.0. I'm very pleased with the initial release. A lot has been shipped, may be too much :)
