I'm a big fan of automation and I've had some level of success with my automation-based projects in the past. LiProspect was built for entrepreneurs like myself to save the time spent on Linkedin finding new leads.
With an increasing number of users. Our biggest challenge had been stabilizing the system. Unfortunately, we lost around 30% of our customers due to the instability of the system, and because we were trying out too many things at a time.
We hired a couple of external DevOps to analyze and suggest what's best for us. The process was tedious and the results weren't impressive as we've got to deal with one issue or the other. Cost, of course, was one of those.
After months of trying out different infrastructures (with cost in mind), we finally reached a green point where everyone can have a breath of fresh air... the entire system works PERFECTLY! And most importantly, we're not breaking the bank as the new system is easily scalable.
We haven't reached our final point just yet, however, this is a sign that we're in the right direction.
And more appealing is the feedback we received from our users!
We ended our Appsumo LTD promotion and it was quite amazing.
It was amazing not because of the number of sales that we were able to get, but because of the feedback gotten from the community. Lots of feature suggestions were received which we've now used to shape our roadmap.
We already released 2 of the most requested features, Post targeting, and a centralized inbox... more to follow.
In an attempt to create more awareness for LiProspect, we decided to give an LTD launch a try and this was done on the biggest LTD platform, Appsumo. We're already receiving positive feedback and feature requests from Sumolings, which would eventually shape our roadmap in the coming months.
We'll see how the campaign goes in the coming weeks and hopefully, I'll be able to share the experience.

We've been testing and re-testing for the past 3 months and after a couple of shares by friends on Linkedin, we were able to acquire a reasonable number of beta testers and that made the journey more smooth than we expected. Now we're out of beta and ready to dive into the market! I'll be offering a 50% discount to fellow Indie Hackers for the first 3 months.
