LockdownShowcase #3 on HackerNews +90 new products

So I launched on Product Hunt at 12AM PST like all the launch guides had said

✅ Launch on PH

I woke up late 😅....at 8AM and started working on promoting the launch.

✅ At least I woke up, gotta be grateful 😴

5 minutes before I went for lunch, I read howtolaunch dot fyi guide to launching your product and realized that I should post to Hacker News as well. So I made a post titled: "What did you make during lockdown?" and called people to post their products in lockdownshowcase.com.

✅ Post on HN 👾

I didn't think much of it and went for lunch.

✅ Lunch 🌯

Came back from lunch and just casually checked HN and suddenly saw that in during the hour I was lunching the post exploded with over 150 upvoted and 200 comments. I checked Lockdown Showcase and there were 50 products in the list (there were only 4 when I left).

✅ Mind Blown 🤯

Since then the post became #2 on the site and then ended up converted to an Ask HN post and quietly disappear from the front page. Though it is still trending top #5 in Ask HN.

Aftermath, since the HN post came up at 12:00PM:
👀 +1000 page views
🦹‍♀️ +700 unique visitors
🖼 +90 products added to the site

It's been a hell of a ride in my first real experience of the internet.
