Hiring through my first startup was tough: I had no idea what good looks like. Logieq uses tasks and challenge templates to help founders understand what to look for and how capable their candidates are, irl.

October 24, 2020 First beta user: reflections

We helped fill the role. Guy was delighted. However, a few learnings:

(1) Our value was not fully realised since the volume isn't there - designing and sending challenges to less than a handful of people feels like extra work still.

(2) This is especially a problem when the entry-level is low, would be easier to run a role-play phone call instead.

Would be massively helpful if we can test our product value hypotheses with large-volume roles and/or high stake hires.

400 apps, or getting a CTO type of thing. Let's see!

October 15, 2020 Onboarded first beta user

Had a scale-up from Melbourne (consumer services) join our close beta. Helping to deploy a challenge for a customer service hire in 3 days. Super excited to see how this turns out.

Drop us an email at [email protected] if you'd like to join the ride!

October 13, 2020 Private beta open for sign-ups

It took us 3 months in quarantine to go from v1 to our private beta. We were very lucky to work closely with people who were extremely supportive. Now we feel confident to share this with (some of) you all!
