Reached 3,500 Maker Mind subscribers!

Hi everyone! I wanted to thank you all for the support during the Product Hunt launch yesterday. Maker Mind was #1 for half of the day and ended up at #2, which is amazing. This also means it will be included in the Product Hunt Daily newsletter going out later today. Lots of kind feedback from readers and fellow makers too which made me incredibly happy.

The list gained 1,300 subscribers in one day, which is the highest growth rate I ever experienced since I started working on this newsletter a few months ago. Unfortunately, I messed up the way analytics were set up on the dedicated landing page, so I have no idea what the conversion rate was—it says I had 1,000 visitors, which would be an incredible/impossible conversion rate 🤦‍♀️

The funny thing about yesterday is the tweet about my dad's comment on Maker Mind's Product Hunt page got way more retweets than my original launch tweet. Looking at my notifications, I wasn't sure if I had launched my dad or my newsletter 😂

Thank you again everyone for the support! 💌

Congrats! Love seeing newsletters, podcasts, etc. on Product Hunt.

It's probably impossible to know for sure without knowing the traffic numbers, do you think the conversion rate was higher than your article posts on HN. If that was the case, does it has more to do with the audience or the fact that they're being directed to a specific landing page?

Thank you! And I do have a feeling that the conversion rate was higher compared to HN. I think the dedicated landing page with only one simple call to action definitely helped. I'm not very good at converting readers on my blog because the subscription box currently sits at the bottom of (sometimes quite long) articles. This is something I'd like to improve!
