always felt like marketing and selling are the hardest part of your Indie journey. So I decided to create a community very focus on this topic so we can share what works, what doesn't and we can help each other!

April 25, 2022 Marketing4Makers community now have 60 members!

I created this community in June 2021 to help startup founders or IndieHacker that wanted to learn how to do marketing.

I'm super happy to see it grow over the last month. We're a small but super friendly community. We help each other daily on marketing topics like landing pages, ads, strategy, etc.…

I hope it's only the beginning, see you in a few months for the 100th member!

December 14, 2021 Launched on ProductHunt!

Yesterday I launched M4M on ProducHunt. I wasn't expecting a big traction as communities aren't super popular on PH.

I've been surprised!

The stats are pretty good, M4M got 187 upvotes, 61 comments and bring 400 visitors to the landing page!

4 new members joined, we're now more than 40 makers!

October 4, 2021 The community reached 20 members!

Only a few weeks after launching the v2 of Marketing4Makers we just hit the first milestone: 20 members!

The migration to Discord brought a LOT more conversations and we now have 2 rituals:

  • Each Monday we post our wins of last week and our mail goal for this week
  • Each Friday we have a MasterMind calls where we try to solve together the main issue of every participant.

That's so much fun!

I'm super happy to see how fast M4M is growing :)

Next milestone: 50 members

Onward!

August 27, 2021 Launching v2 of Marketing4Makers

I launched M4M, a private marketing-focused community 3 months ago. I wanted to create a place where makers can help each other with marketing and sales.

I decided to use Circle for that, I thought a forum-like was a good alternative.

I was WRONG! The interaction between members was too low, so I decided to move to Discord!

  • The interaction between members is much more natural
  • Discord is much more used than Circle
  • Discord also comes with voice/video which is also super nice for communities!

If you want to try the new version (50% discount the first 20 members!) : m4m.so
