Somehow I managed to be both pleasantly surprised and underwhelmed. There were 600 or so unique visitors to the site in the week following the launch (mostly the day of). I also got 5 sign ups to the free plan. I'm surprised I got as much interest as I did in the product. The landing page is still a little rough and there was no way to sign up for a paid plan. I also had a bug for about half the day where only Firefox users could sign up.
Interestingly, most of the feedback in the comments on the post brought up the fact that the free plan was too limiting and they wanted more from the free plan. At least I'm not giving away too much for free!
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the response. I think there were enough people clicking through to the landing page to prove there is some interest in the product. Next steps will be to polish up the payment flow and maybe change the parameters of the free plan.
