You've probably heard the advice many, many times: Talk to your customers.
For some reason, in my comfort zone, I followed this advice by sending surveys to my 3,000 users, got some quantitative results, looked at them a little, and moved on.
Needless to say, that's not what talking to your customers is about.
So today, I went into my database, queried for all my power users (many of which have been signed up with a mentor for 6+ months and/or have paid beyond $1,000 for that service over time), and crafted a personal, unique e-mail for each and everyone of them.
My fingers are burning, this took about 2 hours, but now I'm done - and I'm excited to report back with my findings in a few days.
