First paying customer

Matthew Steedman @MochiCards

After launching on hacker news 3 months ago, I earned my first subscriber.

I initially launched on hacker news to validate the idea, and after getting overwhelmingly positive feedback, I set to work building out a subscription model. That involved setting up a lot of infrastructure, and completely rewriting the data layer for the app.

About two weeks ago I opened the subscription service up as a closed beta to active users, and received 15 sign ups.

Yesterday I closed the beta and opened up signups to everyone, and got my first subscriber!
