Landing pages for podcasts.

Just shipped a new enhancement on Metronome podcast landing pages: Audiograms!
Audiograms are short video snippets that you can download and share online. They let podcasters extract the most exciting parts from their show and post it on social media for easy sharing. They're bite-sized, easily consumable pieces of content used to drive listeners to the long-form content.
I've written a short article about this new feature. Please do check it out!
Super stoked to announce the rollout of a brand new feature on Metronome podcast landing pages: the Episode Recommender!
In this latest version, we've added support to link your show's related episodes together. So podcasters can now "recommend" other episodes the listener may be interested in, which means they'll be sticking around for a lot longer than ever before!
For example, of the episode is about Elon Musk, and there’s been a previous episode talking about bitcoin or Mars, those “related” shows could be interesting for the listener.
I think this is a neat feature that’s not found elsewhere - and it may just be the ticket to help drive up listener numbers for podcasters.

We've just shipped a bunch of new features for our paying customers:
It took about a month of development, but finally it's live!
Metronome Foundry is a big stepping stone on the roadmap - it's going to enable other key features as we look to build a tool that really helps podcasters convert their online and social media audience into listeners!
This is a sneak peek on something we'll be rolling out in the next few days: the Metronome Insights Report, a weekly report that we email out to subscribers.
The report covers these metrics:
We're ushering in 2021 by rolling out a new feature on Metronome podcast landing pages: social sharing, with shortlinks direct to a specific podcast episode!
This feature was requested by our good pals over at the Journey to Wherever podcast. And after a couple of weeks building this out, we're proud to make it the first enhancement shipped for this year!
Today is a big milestone for Metronome: Podcast Junkies because our first-ever paying customer!
"Podcast Junkies was born out of a genuine interest in and curiosity for this growing league of podcast hosts. It's hosted by Harry Duran. It features wide-ranging, authentic and sometimes candid interviews with this family of voices behind the microphone. The shows themselves cover a variety of topics such as Business, Finance Entrepreneurism, History, Comedy, Storytelling and more. Podcast Junkies explores the motivations behind the podcast's inception and allows the listener to connect on a more personal level with some of their favorite hosts."
Podcasters they've featured on their show include John Lee Dumas, Pat Flynn and Lea Thau. Check out their show!
After spending a week tweaking the code and making some general all-round improvements, today marks the official launch of Metronome podcast landing pages to the public!
We're still working on a backlog of improvements and new features, and hope to roll something out each week. Audience feedback and user validation is definitely the biggest driver that determines the prioritization of these features.
Coming up in the next release:
More goodies coming through in the weeks to come!
Two days ago, I added a feature to track the number of times the “play” button was pressed on a podcast landing page.
I’m happy to report that today, Metronome helped to generate two listens for the Journey to Wherever podcast!
Yes, 2 listens is not a big number. Hardly earth-shaking.
But to me, it’s like making that first $1 from your product.
Baby steps!
Manually reached out to the users who signed up for Metronome's Earlybird program. Out of the 36 signups, 13 so far have reverted (36% conversion rate!) with their podcast's RSS feed URL - which we've built the landing pages for:
Still getting a slow trickle of RSS feed URLs from the other Earlybird users; hopefully all 36 of them will be sending it in 🤞
