Designing the posts really gives me a feel for the brand I am building and how to apply it to elements.

I am building the MVP in such an informal way using a free Creative Tim template and focusing on functionality much more than getting the look and feel exactly right. That is so painful being a ui designer by day, but it will definitely get the product out quicker.
