With the rise of dropshipping, it's become increasingly rare to find a good deal on cool shirts. The wife and I decided that it shouldn't be $30 to buy a single shirt, so we bought a screen printing press and did it.
Since we launched, we've had an overwhelming amount of feedback. We switched from a single shirt being available, to a more traditional store model. We're now offering multiple designs available at all times. We're hoping that this helps widen the audience a bit more.
🚀 📦 Next step, your door.
Shipping is a hassle. If you've ever had to deal with shipping a product international, I now understand your pain. We only had a few international orders, but shipping rates are crazy. We didn't account for in the beginning and it really bit us in the ass.
We didn't anticipate the demand overseas. We're going back to the drawing board to figure out how to incentivize international orders to justify the shipping rates. It's gonna require a pivot and overhaul on the entire business model as it stands.
First prints!
We've printed the first few orders!
This is extremely exciting for us! We've trimmed some of the extraneous steps and are continuing to streamline the whole process, but we're really happy with the whole workflow as it stands. We can fulfill print orders at about 30-40 shirts per hour, as of right now.
Launch Day
We launched on Product Hunt, get all that sweet sweet traffic, but only snagging a few orders. We we're able to capitalize on some early suggestions and make some changes that the community had to get us a few more orders. We're going to keep iterating and learning from the input every day.
