Ownership

Starting anything from scratch can be the hardest thing in the world. We've created an app that allows anyone working on a project to log their hours and our app creates a fair ownership based on the hours worked and money invested. The team all log hours as they work and the people who work the most, own the most.

After spending years working for and with startups, we realised that there's no infrastructure to support early-stage ideas when they are at their most fragile. Simultaneously work was changing and we know that during crises new businesses come to the fore. We can't wait for businesses to use NewCo for their startups.

It's been a long slog to get here, but NewCo just passed 50 signups! This has been the result of several efforts, including blogging, YouTube videos and social media marketing. Can't wait for people to start using NewCo to run their own startups!

It took 3 months, but we finally built the minimum viable product for NewCo. We worked mostly nights and weekends, and by the end of January we did a user testing pilot. As they say you should be embarrassed the first time someone users your product or it's too late and there were A LOT of bugs. We are excited to start talking to customers and see what they think about the product so far!
