Update: 1 year on

To be honest, I haven't touched the code or checked on the project in 12 months, it's just been chugging along doing what it was designed to do... help people find Hacker News discussions.

This project was a test to see if I could make a product that people could use without any management from me.... basically a low maintenance business (without the profitability).

Even though I haven't made a single cent from this project, it's got 5 stars on both the Chrome and Firefox Store's with 120 combined active users.... which is something right?!

This proves to myself that I can make something people like and want to use. Now I think it's time to make something profitable ;)

Very cool! Clearly you made something that works well and people like. Can you do something with it to monetize it?

Thanks mate, well there's opportunity to monetise some kind of discussion hunting extension, although I'm not sure about the legalities of it or if there's a market for it. I guess grammarly has proven extensions can make money...
