I have been into Art as a whole for over 10 years now not a good artist myself but i'm surrounded by absolute creatives. I have a couple of NFT Artist friends but their biggest issue s getting exposure.
NFT Just got Acquired By DNS
I just exited my first start up and it feels good
Obviously i'm still going to start something new (not so sure what)
NFT Hunt had a little over 1000 Users and a Tightly knit community, DNS Which is funded by 8VC (investors in oculus and The boring company) wanted to build a discovery feature so they bought NFT Hunt.
It took 20 days but we've achieved it, 1,000 Users all through Word of mouth Marketing and Twitter.
Getting to 1000 Users is the goal for my YC Build sprint and i've achieved it. It shows great focus on one goal accelerates the you reaching the goal.
Next up 2,000 Users
Well Its just bonkers 600 Registered users and 12% retention. We are moving quite smooth a lot more viral marketing tips also looking for ways to develop word of mouth from users.
They already Spread the word but i believe it could be done a lot more faster.
The next goal is 700 and to see an Increase in retention
14 Days ago NFT Hunt had Just Over 400 Users today we cross 500 (513)
All through Twitter, Telegram and Word of Mouth.
The next goal is to cross 600 Users. I also feel I'm hitting a Plato on twitter marketing and looking to expand what can be done with marketing
Got a couple things to test
8 Days ago i was on 300 users and we just surpassed 400 Users and i'm absolutely ecstatic
Twitter has been a very great place also has telegram and word of mouth
Noticed users are talking about NFT Hunt and right now i can wait for half a thousand
Been stuck on 272 Users for about a week and it was extremely irritating users were dropping off and i had a crazy High bounce rate.
Finally got a Hang of it and noticed there was a glitch in the Sign up page. Fixed it and the users started to come in

Just launched Discussions!!!!
So its been a long ride an Now I've finally launched Discussions It will cost me thirty dollars per month to keep it on and i right now have no revenue source, Nothing too concrete planned out.
Just hoping to get some AD money which is extremely unpredictable.

So, initially when i first started out with NFT Hunt, I had an Homepage then you sign up to Upvote or even see any art. That was enough to get me a lot of views but not much Sign up just people snooping around.
After watching the Hotjar recordings i decided to let the site be more or less like product Hunt where you have to sign up to UPVOTE, within the first 4 days there was a crazy spike got 30 Users and a lot of Views from people who discover the NFT Then go to the Purchase page.
But after a week i got 0 sign ups more was stuck at 47 users and no way to calculate retention.
I then decided to change to, VISIT, UPVOTE AND GO
This was a silver bullet, i had have seen growth within the last 2 months but no way to retain users as i do not have their mail, i had a newsletter but out of the total 200+ upvoters i'll get <10 mails
Views are dope and consistent but not scalable or even great,
Now i'm back to the Product Hunt way
