We were frustrated with how complicated it was to get machine learning jobs running on AWS. Nimbo is a dead-simple wrapper for the AWS CLI that allows you to run code on AWS as if you were running it locally.
After posting on a couple of subreddits, we got our first user from the internet. We will now try to ramp up user acquisition and then start thinking about how we are going to convert free users into paid users. Still trying to figure out the best monetization model, but we have a good starting point.
After about 2 months of coding most days, we launched Nimbo on GitHub: https://github.com/nimbo-sh/nimbo. The core features are implemented and we are happy to have already gotten to this stage. Even though it is an MVP, the product is quite robust, though we have many improvements in mind.
