  1. We open up an advertising channel that has generally been hard to make use of.

  2. We try to help small and medium sized podcasters reach monetization faster.

It has around 3500 listeners per episode (which we have verified internally by her sending us a screenshot from her hosting).

October 4, 2021 Added eCPM to podcast listings

As an advertiser you want to know what you pay per thousand listeners when entering into a sponsorship deal with a podcaster.

We therefore added Estimated Cost per Thousand listeners (eCPM), so that advertisers easily can find a podcast that both fits topic, budget and reach wise.

In order to verify eCPM we ask podcasters to upload a screenshot from their hosting platform, that confirms their number of listeners per episode.

Try and see this below example.
Number two picture is a screenshot that confirms that this particular podcast has more than 2000 listeners per episode. It currently cost's $50 to enter into a pre-roll sponsorship deal with them, which means that the eCPM is $25. (50 divided by 2).

We reached out to Podnews yesterday to tell them about the NinjaBuzz marketplace. It turned out that was a good idea, as they decided to feature us in their daily newsletter.

Podnews has 72 in Domain Rating (according to Ahrefs) and around 200k in monthly traffic (according to Similar Web).

September 29, 2021 Added possibility to showcase previous sponsorship

As an advertiser you would want to see if the podcaster you are about to enter into a deal with, has the correct style/voice that you are looking for.

We have therefore added a field under listings called "Example of ad". This way podcasters can easily showcase any previous sponsorship deal they have done with an advertiser.

You can see an example of what that looks like here: https://ninjabuzz.io/en/listings/1585744-idee-fixe

And this is what the ad sounds like for that particular podcast: https://ideefixe.buzzsprout.com/1816483/9231831-elvis-presley-is-the-worst-babysitter-ever-in-gi-blues-1960-lights-camera-elvis

September 23, 2021 Podcast-to-podcast sponsoring — To grow audience

I set up a poll on the r/podcasting community on Reddit to try and find out how many podcasters have, or are considering, sponsoring another podcast ( in order to grow their audience base).

According to the poll only around 8% have tested out sponsoring another podcast. And around 35% are considering it.

I find it interesting that not more podcasters are doing this, as it seems like an easy, and relatively cheap way, to grow your audience.

See the poll here on Reddit:

September 21, 2021 Added filtering options = Easier for advertisers

Some of our listed podcast hosts have been reaching out to us suggesting more filtering options to make it easier for advertisers to find the right podcast to advertise on.

So we added filtering options such as Audience Age Range, Audience Gender and how often the podcast usually airs.

Check all the filters out here: https://ninjabuzz.io/s
