Tutorials on everything I'm learning about "No Code"
I've been engineering software for awhile now and am digging into the "No Code" space to discover if this is the next layer of abstraction in software development.
NoCodeQuest are video screencasts of that journey.
About 1 year ago I said I was unpausing (last milestone) which I did! But... then I had to pause it all again. Then unpaused, then re-paused 馃ぃ doing this several more times throughout the year.
Life.
This lack of consistency is not good. I always see better results the more consistent I am.
The past 1+ months I've unpaused and resumed.
My goal is to work on consistency.
With everything going on in the world I've had to pause my work with this 鈽癸笍 But not anymore! I'm getting back into it now. My take away is that hurdles happen in life. It's okay. Just start back up from where you left off and keep pushing forward 馃槑
This one took over double the time of my last one, 13.75 hours from research to deploying live. That said it is also double the length :smirk: I did this spanning across 8 days, 6 of those days I was actively working on it. This was my 8th video, it's getting easier, I'm getting faster at it, but it's still a MASSIVE amount of work that I would love to better streamline:

Learning how to get faster at producing screencast videos (not easy!). This last screencast was completed in 6 hours from concept to a live blog post. How to submit a Webflow form to the CMS with a login system: https://nocodequest.com/commenting-system-with-authentication/
Working towards faster turn around times with my screencast. I think I did much better this time. I was able to go from concept to completed (and posted) screencast in under 1 week. Yay!

Focusing on a speedy turn around time for common issues in the community. This was a success in regards to that goal. I've had to painfully track in detail the time I'm spending creating these videos so I can understand where to optimize my turn around times. First attempt:
Learned that creating screencasts is hard. It's like an iceberg. 90% of the work is unseen (underwater) while only 10% is seen (the final result).
I need to get faster and more efficient at this.

Was getting questions about how to add unique member dashboards in Webflow using MemberStack (NoCode). Dug into it, figured it out, and recorded a step-by-step screencast demonstrating how:

Finished my second video screencast.
What's the idea behind this?
