If you're like me, you work on multiple products at a few companies.

I constantly have to sort through GitHub, Trello, Figma etc notifications to find the relevant ones for what I'm working on.

I wanna change that.

June 10, 2021 Sent out Beta Email

Finally sent out the Beta E-Mail to 75 people.

End of May I said we would send it out tomorrow but since then there were a bunch of roadblocks last minute, including Product Hunt ship E-mails not being able to open the download link and the download although signed showing a Firewall problem on Mac...

Here's some stats 15 minutes after sending:

Hopefully the CTR will improve over time 😵

What have we learned:

- Double check everything beforehand
- Plan some more buffer time for those checks
- Don't use the ship email system for Mac apps 🤷‍♂️

Anyways if you wanna check it out you can download it for Mac here or if you don't have a mac fill this form to let us know what we need to tackle next here

Cheers ❤️

May 23, 2021 About to Launch Beta and solidified learnings

We're about the send out the Beta to our Ship subscriber list on Product Hunt and to a couple people that expressed interest here on Indie Hackers tomorrow 🎉

I also took some time to reflect on our Journey and what we've learned since embarking on this and I share it on IH.

February 25, 2021 Started Dogfooding

For the last couple days we've used Notifire internally to manage our own notifications from Github and Trello.

While the app itself is still a bit rough along the edges we plan on spending the next 2 weeks polishing and making it better for ourselves before shipping to our first external users to get more feedback.

One thing that's great about this project is that we're actually solving our own need and it's been a major source of our motivation throughout.

Are you doing the same?

January 28, 2021 What's enough validation?

An audience to launch to is makes you:

a) iteration cycle shorter
b) odds that you'll succeed higher

Despite wanting what I'm building myself I figure you can never have too much validation. Hence the new landing page.

It's hard to know if your landing page actually measures the idea or the marketing of the idea. Know what I mean? Are you getting sign ups for the enticing copy or the idea itself?

November 15, 2020 MVP sketched. Now just do it.

We've been slacking for a while now.

Some of use have 2 jobs and it's hard to find time. But the ball is rolling now. We've got an idea of what version 1 should look like and we're talking it out in Figma.

Would be nice to go full-time on this but something's gotta pay the the rent.

October 12, 2020 This is such A WASTE OF TIME 😃🔫

𝗧he inception.

Like a lot of IndieHackers, I've got a lot going on. I've got my day job, freelance gigs and Niche Mates - me and the guys that are building Notifire.

It's a b**** to find the relevant notifications in my inbox for whatever I'm working on. I get pinged with notifications all day for different companies and projects.

Is this a problem others have too?
