Overload Search was created to quickly access google advanced search operators, i wanted to hide or show only operators i'm currently interested in so I developed this chrome extension!

This update allows you to search Google by language! Use the new search card by selecting a language from the drop down. Start typing to search the drop down list!
The chrome Web store listing has also been updated with a YouTube video showing how to use the extension. The first iteration came out better than I expected from my first video editing try :)

Overload Search - advanced Google search chrome extension
This is a small update mainly for SEO and performance. By removing unnecessary font files we were able to reduce the package size dramatically down to 266kb with further reductions possible in future.
Release notes
- Reduced permissions, previously the tabs permission was required, this has now been changed to just the active tab. This is required to populate the domain search
- Further Reduction in package size
- addition of en-us language

We've reached an amazing milestone of 200 weekly users for the Overload Search chrome extension!
After noticing a trend of France being the main non english user base I decided to translate to French. This gained the extension traction in France after multiple bloggers wrote articles about the extension that were shared on Twitter. This saw a huge increase in installs from both France and Canada and saw the extension reach 200 users!
There is a new version in the works updates to come 馃檭 any feedback and feature requests are welcome!

Following user feedback the following changes have been made to improve the user experience and a big fix for the blog and discussion search types. Discussion has been deprecated by Google and has been removed. A fix for blogs is included in this release!
- Fixed Blog search type
- Changed cursor for dragging search cards
- Removed deprecated discussion search type
- Reduced package size

An article published in French was shared on Twitter that resulted in our weekly users increasing to 165!! This is great feedback for the French translation that we recently added in version 1.2
This is a major achievement and I'm proud so many people are finding this useful!
It's taken a while but I finally reached a goal of 70 weekly users. Changing the description for chrome web store SEO and promotional images really helped, along with updating regularly for the google algorithm :)
Looking at new features in the coming weeks, more versions incoming!

Since the last release multiple search cards have been added. UI/UX cleanup has also been done on the enable/disable card setting page. The new search card operators now available :
- Turn off safe search
- Related sites
- Sites that contain link specified
