Good news on the professional and personal front:
Make (formerly Integromat) told me yesterday that my Paperless.io app was approved and published.
I'm stoked not just because my users can now make their own document workflows, but also because I am.
My humble nature triggers narcissistic feelings or makes me feel like an imposter when I write this, but here goes:
I used our amazing API to build this custom app, and I built it myself, so I'm very happy. My coding skills have paid off in my life and career since I taught myself a few years ago. This stuff is fun for me...
I honestly believe these eight modules are gonna MAKE (no pun intended) a difference to our customers and users.
Why?
The no-code, low-code trend is here to stay. Automation helps businesses get things done faster. This aligns perfectly with our vision and mission.
Using the Make integration, Paperless.io users can now create, send, update, and store Paperless documents quickly using tools they already use and are familiar with.
Making this myself also freed up a bunch of time for our tech team, who are busy adding new features.

It's Launch Day!
I'm thrilled to announce that we launched Paperless.io on Product Hunt today. With Paperless.io, you can create, approve, send, sign, and automate business documents all in one place. Compliant with GDPR.

We launched our new marketing website at paperless.io - we're using Webflow as compared to Typo3 (the CMS we had before) because we need to have much more flexibility.
Instead of delaying the launch of the marketing website for months, we decided to launch an MVP version and then add new pages later on as we grow.
So far, so good.
For product-led companies, measuring what's going on within your product is crucial. We're tracking 95% server side and sending the data to our data warehouse. From there, we connect with RudderStack open source. We run some transformations and pipe the data downstream to Intercom for product engagement and PostHog for product analytics. It's amazing and gives us a whole new level of sophistication for behaviour-based messaging etc.

Since the article went live, we experienced 55 additional sign-ups to our platform and dozens of inquiries for partnerships & integrations. And that just happened on the first few days of being live.
We'll continue to experiment with Media / PR as our primary channel to gain exposure and brand awareness.
We just recently opened up our pre-launch launch page on Product Hunt's Ship. We're not expecting a huge amount of signups from there as we're on the free plan, but it's one of those things worth trying.

At the moment, we're learning more about the various use cases, customer segments, pain points & motivations. We realised that some of the primary use cases for Paperless are:

Order-to-Cash processes: This captures bank data within seconds and sends the SEPA direct debit mandate or the invoice. The data is automatically validated so that all information is correct the first time around.

Public forms: With public forms, our early access customers save valuable time every day: with just a few clicks, documents and contracts become accessible via a link and can be retrieved and filled out independently.
