In the cacophony of everyday news, and the world coming to an end, it is easy to lose your sense of direction and question your place in the world - literally and figuratively.

November 18, 2020 38 Subscribers, 7 Paid Subscribers!

Although I don't publish that often on the Substack, I do write thoughtful pieces there. It is heartening to see it grow to 7 paid subscribers and total of 38 subscribers. The articles are intended to be thought provoking rather than a bland commentary on events.

October 21, 2020 30 Subscribers, 2 Paid Subscribers!

I shared the content on social media and messaging apps, and got 30 free subscribers and 2 paid customers. These are people who already care about what I say, on some social media platform. I write more freely and in long form on Substack and the genuine readers value that. These are the people who actually have a reading habit & are happy to subscribe to support an independent voice. Happy to be on this journey to discover my tribe :)

October 13, 2020 First Evangelist Subscriber!

Today I got my first "evangelist" subscriber for the newsletter--where any subscriber can offer to pay an amount higher than a yearly subscription price & choose an amount of their liking. Since the pricing on the Substack is modest, this is a big yay!

October 12, 2020 20 Subscribers! Yay!

Got the first 20 free signups through social media and direct readership. This was interesting as I did not expect it to gain that much viewership. Most of the readers are tired of reporting by mainstream media and want to know a genuine take on issues, without vested interests.
