Launched a Freemium Plan

David Small @mrdazm

In the short time that Passbox has been live I’ve done a little promotion for it online (IH and Reddit). It’s intrigued folks and got views on the homepage but not to the signup page.

I believe that since Passbox exists in a high trust/credibility space and is an unfamiliar name users have been unwilling to begin a trial of the app because it:

  1. costs money
  2. requires a credit card to signup
  3. has a lacking landing page

To help better ease folks into giving Passbox a shot I've now launched a freemium plan with restricted functionality! I'm hoping that they will signup after viewing the landing page and seeing there's a free option. Let’s see...
